Well, the “Won’t somebody PLEEEEEASE think of the children” contingent have been busy, lodging at least 1500 complaints to ABC over Adam Lambert’s crotch grabbing, fake blow job giving, man on man kising performance last night, that closed the AMA’s. 

Frankly, that was shocking to hear.  I thought that keyboardist was a woman!  This whole resurgence of androgyny has got me really confused, more so than usual.

Anyway, ABC edited the fake BJ part out of the west coast feed, but kept all the other parts (they also edited J-lo falling on her ass, which was the best part of her performance, I thought) which was probably enough to send some members of the viewing public into a tizzy.

Adam for his part, is not backing down.  He told Us Weekly that there’s a big double standard (meaning woman can be provocative without getting as much flack) and that people are taking things way too seriously.  “I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it’s all for a laugh, it’s really not that big of a deal.”

Wasn’t that the whole point to create a stir?  Looking forward to seeing what he does and who he pisses off next.  He really is entertaining.
