Years ago I read a very funny novel called California Screaming, about a gorgeous young gay guy dating the powerful, openly gay owner of an entertainment conglomerate.

Last night, David Geffen, the 66 year old movie mogul, took his hunky 26 year old boyfriend, Jeremy Lingvall, to the White House State Dinner as his date.  Life imitates art.

Rumour has it that Geffen’s apparently been seeing Lingvall for about a year.  It’s good to see that extremely wealthy gays, like their straight counterparts, are just as capable of dating people half their age and not ashamed to show what their wealth has bought them it.

Speaking of which, Geffen should contact Madonna and arrange a play-date for their boyfriends.  Jesus and Jeremy could compare notes and debate over who landed a richer sugar daddy/momma.
