Michael Jackson’s record breaking album sales for Thriller are safe (for now).

Just when some were ready to declare good taste officially dead and buried comes word that during it’s first week of release, Heidi Montag’s debut (and most likely only) album, Superficial has sold a whopping grand total of 658 downloaded copies and under 1000 physical ones.  As they say, one small step for mankind, one giant leap for good taste. 

Looks like Heidi and her husband Spender Pratt better just stick to famewhoring to make a living and pay for all her plastic surgery.

Look for Superficial to be included in most critics “worst of” lists at the end of the year and in the $1 sales bins by the end of the month.
