Looks like congratulations are in order (as well as the inevitable “how long do you think this is going to last” question).

Upcoming Playboy centerfold, red carpet trainwreck, and cautionary tale of plastic surgery gone wrong Tara Reid has gotten herself engaged to her boyfriend of one year, Internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann.

Apparently, Axtmann proposed marriage earlier this week while out to dinner, with Reid, surprising her with a diamond ring.  

The pair met last year and are planning on a small wedding later this summer. 

Why do I get a sort of Dean Sheremet (LeAnn Rimes’ ex-husband) kind of vibe from this guy?  Maybe it’s just me or maybe it’s the overly sculpted eyebrows….be honest, I know your probably thinking it too. 

Then again, I’m an admitted cynic, so what do I know?
