The Bachelor (finally) takes a wife

Grab the confetti and the rice and try not to roll your eyes…

Jason Mesnick the drama queen (yes I know he’s straight but the label fits him, so there) from last season’s The Bachelorwho picked a different ho only to send her packing and ask for another shot at winning runner up Molly Malaney’s affections during the After The Final Rose special (The! Most! Dramatic!  After!  The!  Final!  Rose!  Special!  Ever!) is now getting married to her.

ABC plans to air The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding in a two hour special to air on March 8th, which should conveniently coincide with the current season ending.

This will finally end the batting average of 0 for the show, who’s bachelors shockingly never seem to stay with their reality TV contrived choosen girlfriends for very long once the cameras stop rolling (the sole exception being Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter from The Bachelorette seven years ago).

No word if the network plans on following up with this with possible related specials such as The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Trial Separation, and The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Divorce.  Just think, if that occurs, maybe Jason could try his luck yet again on either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.  The third time’s the charm.
