Mission:Implausible

After having been banished to the lower echelons of the Paramount celebrity hierarchy by semi-mummified Viacomoverlord Sumner Redstone by terminating his production deal with the company, Tom Crusie is apparently back in the company’s good graces four years later, agreeing to produce and star in Mission Impossible IV.

Redstone threw Cruise under the proverbial bus due to his huge paycheque, underwhelming performance of MI-3 and increasingly questionable behavior (couch jumping and celebrity feuds with Brooke Shields and Matt Lautner, among others) at the time.

JJ Abrams, who’s proven himself as a director and producer since the last Mission Impossible film is on board again to co-produce with Cruise.  The movie is set to begin production this summer for a Memorial Day weekend opening next year.

Cue the Cruise patented intense stares, practiced mannerisms and masculine manly man stunts showing his manliness.

Nothing whitewashes away past transgressions like reining in the crazy and being photographed with your precocious three year old.
