Right back at you – Lady Gaga counter sues
Here we go with yet another legal tennis match between the “haves” and the “have mores”.
Citing that music producer Rob Fusari took advantage of her naivete by getting her to sign an illegal contract, Lady Gaga and her legal team have fired back from his $30 million dollar lawsuit against the singer in a counter suit launched Friday.
The suit claims that Fusari’s actions in 2006 ”were predatory and financially abusive” and the contract he had her sign “was structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose – to provide the defendant unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents”.
Translation: The contract he had Gaga sign is invalid as he wasn’t a licensed agent at the time, so she dosen’t own him a dime.
What so you think the odds are that Fusari ends up settling his suit for an undisclosed sum (albeit a lot less than $30 m originally sought)?
