Karma is a bitch and so is Chris Brown
At the rate Chris Brown continues to make friends and influence people with his behaviour, he’s going to wind up on some Vh1 or MTV reality show as a musical has-been.
According to Bark Bite Blog Chris spoke to Q94 in Virginia yesterday to promote his concert to benefit Haiti as well as the public’s perception of him and things didn’t go…well.
A partial transcript of the exchange below…
Chris Brown: “I Love You” that’s rocking right now.
DJ Kash: Oh with Ester Dean?
Chris Brown: Yeah with Ester Dean. Sh*t rocks.
DJ Kash: Word? I was actually thinking about making that my pick of the day.
Chris Brown: Yeah but what I’m saying is y’all don’t play my sh*t.
DJ Kash: Yeah we do, but that’s just not even impacting on the charts. Is it even anywhere on the charts?
Chris Brown: Yeah.
DJ Kash: What number is it at?
Chris Brown: What number is it at? It don’t matter though so…why am I even doing this interview? F*ck it I ain’t doing this sh*t. (Click.)
Rude and petulant with a huge sense of entitlement. What a lovely combination. Apparently, someone from Jive Records had to call afterwards and apologize on Chris’ behalf for his behavior (guess he was to busy sulking to do it himself).
You’d think that someone in the music industry like Chris would get that a top 40 radio station doesn’t really play anything that’s not currently on the charts (at least not in heavy rotation) and bitching out a DJ on air is hardly going to change matters any.
“Getting it” just dosen’t seem to be Chris’ forte, does it?
