Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark
Seriously. There’s nothing, nothing! to be afraid of, hiding under the bed, in the basement, crawling through the air ducts, lurking in the shadows almost, but not quite, out of sight.
Based on the 1972 made for TV movie (which was all kind of shlocky but still terrified me when I saw it as a kid), the theatrical remake is directed by Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labrinyth, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army) and stars Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes.
It should come out later this year, but since the film is tied to the quagmire that is Mirimax, it could be delayed.
