One of the best things about these award shows are the stories that surface usually a day or two after the event and people have had a chance to tell tales out of school.

So with that in mind, apparently Taylor Swift is still plenty mad at Kanye West for storming the stage on her last year.  According to the long-winded Ted Casablanca over at E! Online, event organizers wanted Taylor and Kanye to take the stage together at the end of the show to close the book on Kanye-gate.

Allegedly, Taylor hummed and hawed throughout the entire show, keeping people from both her and Kanye’s teams (as well as organizers) trying to convince her, only to have her finally decide not to go with the idea at the last minute.

Totally her choice, but kind of diva-ish for her sweet, wholesome “oh gosh, golly-gee, aw-shucks” image, no?  It may have rattled her cage, but Kanye gate was one of the best things ever to happen to her.  Nothing like being the victim in a controversy.  All of the attention, none of the blame.

Guess the Tylor Swift backlash is about to start.
