Is anyone actually buying this relationship?
The only thing I can think Joe is asking Ash in this photo is something along the lines of “OMG, whoever does your hair is a genius!” or “When do I get to meet Taylor Lautner again?”
Looks like the there was no magic in the Magic Kingdom approved (and probably ordered) romance of Disney stars Joe Jonas,20 and Demi Lovato, 17.
The story flying around over the weekend was that Joe had his father break up with Demi over the phone, but she shot that down via her Twitter account late Monday saying, “There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends.”
(Joe infamously broke up with Taylor Swift in 2008 over the phone)
Joe spoke to People as well, telling them “Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.”
That’s good to hear, since she and the Jonas Brothers will be touring together this summer. Awkward.
The pair first met when they worked together filming Camp Rock in 2007. Demi announced that they were a couple back in March right after a bunch of photos surfaced of Joe out shopping with a couple of friends (see below).
Walt would be proud of this arrangement.
What do you do when there are all sorts of blind items posted allegedly referring to one of your young female talent’s hard partying ways, while rumours swirl regarding a young male talent’s which just won’t go away?
It doesn’t help matters that in the space of a couple of weeks the talent gets photographed showing a definite lack of know-how around a football, then gets papped while shopping with a couple of um…friends (see below).
Don’t lie. You were thinking it too.
Interesting timing then that Demi Lovato (top pic, left) confirmed to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show the other day that she and Joe Jonas are dating. Apparently they met while filming Camp Shlock Rock, became friends and are now in lurrrrrve.
Demi told Ryan Joe is “He is my best friend and he is incredible“.

Well, there you have it! This should kill those pesky rumours and blind items now right?

Seriously, is there anything more sad looking than a guy trying to catch a football who clearly doesn’t have a clue as to what he’s doing?
So the Jonas brothers, who are currently filming their new movie Chasing Butterflies (I sense a future Razzie nomination in the making), took some time out to throw around a pigskin and shriek in terror at it whenever it came close to them.
Ok I completley made that last part up, but I don’t think it’s much of a stretch.
Joe has some nice triceps going on there though.
